Itinerary – Classic Inca Trail 4D/3N

  • Day 1: Cusco – KM 82 – Wayllabamba (12 km / 7.5 mi)

    • Early transfer from Cusco to KM 82 (Inca Trail checkpoint).
    • Trek along the Urubamba River valley.
    • Visit archaeological sites: Llactapata.
    • Campsite at Wayllabamba (3,000 m).

  • Day 2: Wayllabamba – Dead Woman’s Pass – Pacaymayo (11 km / 6.8 mi)

    • Early bus to Machu Picchu.
    • Guided tour (2–3 hours) exploring temples, terraces, and sacred plazas.
    • Free time for photos or optional hike (Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain – subject to availability).
    • Afternoon train to Ollantaytambo, private transfer to Cusco.
    • Overnight in Cusco hotel.

  • Day 4: Wiñay Wayna – Sun Gate – Machu Picchu – Cusco (5 km / 3 mi)
