Itinerary – Lares Trek & Machu Picchu 4D/3N

  • Day 1: Cusco – Lares Hot Springs – Wakawasi

    • Morning departure from Cusco to the town of Lares.
    • Enjoy a dip in the Lares hot springs.
    • Begin trek towards Wakawasi (3,700 m), meeting local families.
    • Overnight at camp.

  • Day 2: Wakawasi – Ipsaycocha Pass – Patacancha

    • Early ascent to Ipsaycocha Pass (4,450 m), the highest point of the trek.
    • Incredible mountain and lake views.
    • Descend to Patacancha, a traditional weaving village.
    • Overnight at camp.

  • Day 3: Patacancha – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

    • Morning trek through Andean valleys.
    • Transfer to Ollantaytambo and take the train to Aguas Calientes.
    • Overnight in hotel.

  • Day 4: Machu Picchu Guided Tour – Return to Cusco

    • Early bus to Machu Picchu.
