Itinerary – Lares Trek & Machu Picchu 4D/3N

  • Day 1: Cusco – Mollepata – Humantay Lake – Soraypampa

    • Early departure from Cusco.
    • Hike to the stunning Humantay Lake (4,200 m).
    • Overnight at Soraypampa camp (3,900 m).

  • Day 2: Soraypampa – Salkantay Pass – Chaullay

    • Trek to the highest point: Salkantay Pass (4,650 m) with incredible views.
    • Descend into the cloud forest.
    • Overnight at Chaullay camp (2,900 m).

  • Day 3: Chaullay – La Playa (Lucmabamba)

    • Trek through the lush forest with waterfalls, orchids, and coffee farms.

  • Day 4: La Playa – Llactapata – Aguas Calientes

  • Day 5: Machu Picchu Guided Tour – Return to Cusco

    Early bus to Machu Picchu. Guided tour (2–3 hours) with time to explore on your own. Afternoon return train to Ollantaytambo and transfer to Cusco.
